Attenuation of the nasolabial folds
What is it?
Nasolabial folds are the first expression wrinkles that appear on the face. This is due to the action of the facial mimic muscles and the atrophy of fat and bone tissue due to aging. Its attenuation consists of the administration of filler material to provide this lost volume.
An assessment by a specialist is important, because in many cases, it requires first a volumetric repositioning of the middle third of the face.
Treatment steps
1st session: Prior administration of anesthesia, the filler material is administered in the sunken nasolabial fold in such a way that we will attenuate the fold and give the face a more youthful appearance.
2nd session: Review at 3 weeks
The duration of treatment is between 8-12 months depending on the characteristics and daily habits of each patient.
