What is Invisalign® Orthodontics?
Also known as invisible orthodontics. It is orthodontic treatment using clear aligners.
It is suitable for children ages 6 and up (Invisalign® First), teenagers (Invisalign® Teen), and adults (i7, Lite, and Comprehensive).

A 3D scan of your teeth is performed without the need for the typical, cumbersome impression materials that were used in the past.
After a few days, an Invisalign® technician sends us a 3D simulation of what the patient’s teeth will look like.
After a few adjustments by the orthodontist, the order for the aligners is placed, and in about a couple of weeks, we receive all the Invisalign® aligners at the clinic.
In certain cases, it is necessary to place attachments—which are small, transparent protrusions made of a material called composite—to make the treatment more effective.

The main advantage of Invisalign®, aside from being invisible, compared to conventional braces is that you can take them out when you eat or are out with friends. We recommend wearing them for at least 21 hours a day.
You can eat whatever you want without worrying about hard foods, since you don’t have anything in your mouth that might bother you or get damaged. Of course, when you’re wearing them, you can only drink water. Coffee or herbal teas may stain them slightly…
