Marionette groove attenuation
What is it?
Marionette furrows are those depressions that appear under the corners of the mouth giving a sad-looking face. The treatment with the infiltration of filling materials manages to attenuate this furrow, improving the appearance of the sagging and returning the corners of the mouth to their normal curvature.
Treatment steps
1st session: After administering anesthesia, the filler material will be infiltrated in strategic points to improve the sagging and the marionette sulcus. In this way, we manage to go from a sad appearance to a more youthful and smiling appearance.
2nd session: Review at 3 weeks, at which time some minor correction may be made.
The duration of treatment is between 8-12 months depending on the characteristics and daily habits of each patient.
